DDM Joins EU-Funded Doctoral Programmes Advancing AI in Healthcare

DDM Prof. Mauricio Reyes and his research group at the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research, are among the recipients awarded funding through the prestigious MSCA awards. The funded project will train 15 doctoral researchers, preparing them to become the next generation of translational AI scientists in radiotherapy.

International recognition for AI in Neuroradiology

The Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at Inselspital has been named an ACR Recognized Center for Healthcare-AI by the American College of Radiology, becoming the first institution outside the USA to receive this accreditation. Led by DDM's Vice-Director Prof Roland Wiest, the Institute applies artificial intelligence in radiology in a structured, transparent, and patient-centred manner to support clinical decision-making.
