International recognition for AI in Neuroradiology

The Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at Inselspital has been named an ACR Recognized Center for Healthcare-AI by the American College of Radiology, becoming the first institution outside the USA to receive this accreditation.

Led by DDM's Vice-Director Prof Roland Wiest, the Institute applies artificial intelligence in radiology in a structured, transparent, and patient-centred manner to support clinical decision-making.

DDM Researchers Secure CHF 1.5 Million in DigiK Grants

Researchers from the Department of Digital Medicine (DDM) have secured CHF 1.5 million in competitive DigiK funding for innovative digital transformation research. Supported by the University of Bern, these awards recognize interdisciplinary projects that strengthen the University's profile in digital transformation.
